Spector Ns4Crfm Good for slap?

    Is this bass any good for slap? tone wise? A slap audio sample would be good.

    I play the five-string version. The bass has excellent active electronics that provide for a punchy and clean slap spound. The neck and action also facilitate much easier slapping than you'll find in many other basses.

    Yes, very nice. Don't have any samples, but take my word, it's a slappin machine!

    I didn't think so when I first got the bass, but I also rarely play slap. It's just not to my liking really, and I use it sparingly. Once I messed around with it a bit though, I love it for a little slap line here and there.

    spectors are excellent for slap!

    They are excellant for slap!!! The EMG's and new Aguilar preamp really bring out the transients of the style. The setup of the bass really facilitates the style. I used to think I could slap good on my Sterling, but after I got the NS4CRFM my slap tone got about 100% better.
