I own a Spector NS5CRFM in Green Stain (Awesome bass) Sadly the weight of the damm thing is killing me! The question is what weight is the Spector NS5CRFM and how much lighter is the SPECTOR NS4CRFM as im thinking of switching to the 4.

Yeah, when i'm playing my dream bass, and the godly tone is coming from my fingers, thanks to spector, I always go "Damn, I hate this heavy thing, i'm getting a lighter bass".

Spectors are heavy? Thats news to me.

    I been everywhere, man...
    None. At all.
The 5 string version is not significantly heavier than the four - it's just some more wood and a tuning machine. It's still heavy, though.

For physical reasons, I had to quit playing Spectors because of the weight and the small body design. They're still fantastic instruments that unfortunately did not work out for me.
