I have an absolutely amazing Spector NS5-XL. It's a stunning instrument that has what may be the best B-string I've ever heard. The bass is growly and punchy in a way that you always imagine Spector's to be.

I've moved away from 35" basses and, the reality is, I know I will never use it. It has sat in it's case in my studio since I got it. It's in excellent condition. I cannot find any dings/gouges on it. Beyond some light swirling in the finish from playing, it's in superb condition.
    • 35" scale
    • Blue/black finish
    • Pau ferro board Inlays
    • EMG DC40's
    • 18v Spector haz preamp
    • Weighs ~10lbs
    • Bass is super clean
    • Original hard shell case
Not looking for trades UNLESS you have a 34" NS5.

    Thanks!

Thanks man. Yes, a pretty amazing one. I know I’ll regret it but it really needs to be played.

I owned this bass for a few years and sold it here last year and I think I may have left a 40P5 in the neck position. To me that’s an upgrade but just wanted to mention in case the buyer wants two DC’s. GLWTS - great bass!

Thanks man. I think this is a different bass. I remember when yours was for sale — it was almost identical and just as beautiful.

Grain looks identical to my old pics I looked at but it’s possible - I’d have to check the serial in my old pics to be sure. Maybe the same piece of wood for both?

I’m definitely on the fence about selling this one but it really should go to someone who will use it.

Pristine condition and absolutely staggering tone and playability. This is the Spector you want — it is one of the good ones.

OK that makes sense since I put the newer EMG's in it because I wanted a P5 and then I wanted the logos on the pickups to match. So I'm pretty sure the DC in it came from my old Webster. Also upgraded it to a bridge with intonation screws which I think I see in the pics. I really miss this bass, but nothing will unseat my current UV 5XL as my new favorite. :)

So this bass has 2 DC pups or a P and a DC?

I stand corrected. I could swear I remember looking at them bth side by side when I got this one. In any case, she sounds huge.

From what Bunk is saying, it’s a P and a DC.

Thanksgiving sale — $3,200 shipped in the continental US.

Lots of interest on this — Hopefully this is incentive to pull the trigger! ;)
