spector question

    why is the european spector more expensive to buy than the czech spector is the list is the same price?

    It's the same bass. By European, they mean Czech. It just sounds "better" to the public.

    Is the same store selling them @ different prices? If so, they're triyng to rip you off. If it's 2 different stores & they're both new, it's natural. Different stores have different prices. :)

    The ones are less expensive are a discontinued model. I have one of these in a 5 string version. MF bought whatever Spector had left @ a MAJOR DISCOUNT. The only difference is the newer ones have the "Crown" inlay & highly figured maple bodies!!! That's it!!!!! The basses are identical otherwise & if you were interested in buying a Spector, I HIGHLY recomend you buy one of the discontinued modeld!!!!! You'll save $100's!!!! :)
