spector rebop being quite

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by spectorrebop, May 19, 2005.

  1. I dig a gig last week and havent been able to play for a bit. I tured on today, with the same settings as the gig sttings, and it was quite. At first i thought it was the amp or cabinet, but when used my ibanez, it was very loud. I thought the rebop's emg pickups were electronic, not battery. Im very confused. IF I'm wrong please let me know. Or if any one has any advise that would be great. Any help appreciated.

Mean the Spector is too "quiet"?

The Rebop has passive pickups rather than active ones, but it has an active preamp. So, there is indeed a battery inside that needs to be changed on a regular basis. I don't know if that's actually the cause of your problem or not, but it's worth trying to replace the battery first.
