Spector Truss Rod ??

    I was in the process of adjusting a truss rod on a neck-thru NS-2A and when I took off the cover I noticed the rod doesn't have a hex slot.

    It's just four grooves/cut on the tip of the rod. It looks like it could be turned with a slotted screwdriver from the top.

    Is this the right way to do it? Or is there a special tool?

    i think you will need a special tool and this tool must come with your bass

    A Phillips Screwdriver is all you need. :)
  4. why would any manufacturer do that? it just complicates things...
