    Dead-mint condition. Quilt maple top over mahogany body. 3-piece quartersawn bolt-on maple neck with rosewood board. Satin finish on neck and body. EMG ‘reverse’ P and J pickups. Aguilar OBP-3 preamp. Doug Wimbish neck (1.5” nut), D-tuner. Build date 12/3/13. Weighs 8 lbs, 6 oz. Comes with mint condition Mono bass sleeve. Free shipping to CONUS. Sorry, not interested in trades for now.

    Thank you for pointing out this confusion. No, this is not the "Doug Wimbish Model", which as far as I know only applies to Euro basses. This is a USA-built bass with a "Doug Wimbish profile" neck (1.5" nut width, slimmer back to front) as opposed to the wider standard USA neck. It also has the same pickup setup (reverse P + J).

    Is it me or does the bridge and pickup spacing look way tighter than usual?

    When you say "usual", are you are comparing this to the Euro Doug Wimbish version? This is a USA bass, which might be different. The distance from the bridge saddles to the center of the J pickup is about 2". Here is a diagram:

    It's because the P pickup is backed up closer to the bridge on NS2 bolt on models (this bass) than the standard position used normally on their regular neck thru NS2's.
