I was wondering your opinion on the sound of spector basses with hip hop and r&b. would it work?

i use my jh5 for everything including jazz, r&b and rock. the bolt ons are a little smoother than the thru's.

  3. i'd probably use a spector for anything.

  4. i think they;d work great

but nothing beats a jazz bass for hip hip n Rnb

I use mine for functions/sessions and they sound great for jazz, soul, funk, disco, pop, latin, rock etc.... very versatile :bassist:

I used my NS2000/5 exclusively in the summer of 2003 playing in a Neo Soul/HH band...at first stock, then with fully active pickups...a stock Q5 was my backup. Worked awesome!
