    I have just bought a used spector bass. But i dont know which model it is, could anybody inhere perhaps help me?

    It is red with see through finish. It has a P/J pickup configuration, the P pickups say spector.

    It has black hardware, the bridge also says spector, the tuners have an S like logo an say made in w. germany. In the head there is a pearl spector logo.

    It has four pots, two is volume, and i dont know what the other two are!!! anybody know that?

    oh yeah, and the bass is neckhtrough

    That's almost definitely a late 80's Spector NS2A bass. These quality neckthrough basses were made in Japan by Kramer (who owned the company at the time) and feature Spector (rather than EMG pickups), Schaller (hence the S) machineheads, two volumes & bass and treble pots.
