Spectra 312?

    Anyone ever heard of this amp? A google search returned just about nothing useful, but i've been on the lookout for a new amp to mess around with, and this one is pretty damn cheap; although I can't find any information on it. Not even sure if its a bass amp.

    Early/Mid-80s solid state combo amp. It's not "vintage" and it's not worth anything near the $150 the seller claims. If you really need a combo it may be worth the $80 he's asking for. I'd offer $50. I had a Spectra 315B which was probably this amp's big brother. It served me well. Never heard of the manufacturer, when I bought mine it was manufactured by Dean Markley. Parametric midrange control works nice, the "compressor" is just a speaker-saver like Peavey and many other manufacturers install. Don't expect nice tone. Do expect a loud reliable workhorse.
