I want to do a coil split with a 3 way switch where one side does middle coils, the middle is humbucker, and the other side is the bridge coils. I'm not sure how to wire this though, every diagram I've seen has been with push/pulls and only for one coil so I'm a little confused. I'm also not sure on what switch I would need. A DPDT on/off/on? Or, a on/on/on? I drew a terrible diagram of how I think it would be wired, but, I don't know where the ground wires from the humbucker would go.
It's very simple. Think of it as a pickup selector. Single switch on-on-on, wire the hot from each coil on a side, output on middle peg, done.
