    Hi everyone

Some of you know I was looking for something to do with my iPod. I got an Ihome for christmas. I am a regular user of spotify, and leave that on all day on my iPod now. However, almost every other song now, there is an ad. I am a student, and I can't afford $10 a month for premium, especially if I'm saving for a jazz bass

    So.

Anyone have free alternatives without adds to Spotify?

***I think desktop spotify is amazing, mobile is horrible***

  2. Do you want stored music or streamed music?

I sometimes go to the streaming internet radio section, iTunes Radio, and listen to that. There's different stations and the song selection is random, but there are no ads.

I used to use grooveshark. No ads iirc, years ago though

  6. I don't know much about streaming, other than pandora or spotify. like someone else said, iTunes radio is an option, but I don't know much about that either.

Pandora friggen rocks. I listen to it 40 hours/ week minimum through my headphones at work. Has ads, but they're usually the same ads for weeks at a time, so I don't even notice them playing anymore. It's like background noise.

Iheart radio is supposed to be pretty cool too, but I've never used it. Haven't tried iTunes radio yet, either.

Pandora. Occasional ads but not so many that it's unbearable.
