Spotted on an Irish classifieds site - is this for real??

    Spotted the attached on an Irish classified site. The ad link is here.

    Is this a real Aria or a funny project?

    Looks Like a real Aria to me. I would guess from the look that he carved up the neck and head stock to do that.

    real Aria. It wasn't originally sold like that though

    I've no plans to buy this thing - probably easier to play a 6-er than a 2-er....

    I have dealt with this gentleman here in ireland - real sound guy!

    I would say its a solution for a busted bass, at a glance, but if it matters, I could find out for you?

    Not original! its obviously a three string that's been modified.
