2009, MIC, real rosewood board, rare fiesta red (Pino!)basswood body, high mass bridge. Gator TSA hard case.
    Weight is just under 9lbs
$500 shipped east of the Mississippi
$525 shipped west of the Mississippi
    Price is firm, sorry.
    No trades.

Before I get the,“those go for $399 new” post, I get it.
let me say that the new ones don’t compare to the first years of production, these are the ones to get, if you want a true vintage sounding P without spending a mint.
Go ahead and do a google search, you won’t find more than a couple of these for sale. Anyway moving on...

This bass plays and sounds like a great P bass should, no B.S.
    No issues.
Feel free to PM any questions.
    Thanks for reading.

You wont get any of those "$399" posts. I own one and they are worth every penny..and theres a very good reason why you dont see them for sale.

LOL... it was more of a PSA. You're absolutely right, they're worth every penny. Someone better buy it before I change my mind.

I just got one of these, its everything everybody everywhere says it is. Great playable P bass sound. The first time I played one a few years back I looked at the guy....he said 'this one isn't for sale...' Boom!

    Good luck!

It's under 9lb. I weighed myself without the bass and then with it, on my digital scale.

Thanks! A bit heavy for me, but I've owned this and the Sonic Blue one and feel stupid for selling them. Such great basses. Especially the necks.

Nice! I saw the blue one had the bridge cover, is it the same year as the red one?

    Cheers.

Also I'm surprised it hasn't sold yet...I already have one but GAS is settling in...!

    Hi Bleecker,
The CV’s don’t come with bridge or pickup covers.
Take care of your GAS, buy this one

Oh, I didn’t think the cover would fit over the high mass bridge. I see the one pictured above had one.

Mine looks just like that, missing the cover, but has the screws and indentions.
