I recently bought this neck to use on my St. Blues P/J as an upgrade. Turns out, St. Blues did not use standard Fender neck routs in the 80s, and this neck is a little too wide for the pocket on that body. I can't use it.

So - here is a Squier J neck, rosewood board. 1 1/2" nut. It is a 2017 model and appears to have very little play time on it. Tuners appear to be the original Squier stuff. Truss rod turns easily and has the headstock access point, which is actually why I wanted this neck.

It has a vintage tint on the headstock but fades to a nice matte on the back of the neck. The Squier branding has been removed and replaced with Fender branding, which was done well.

    Ships in the Fender box.

$75 plus actual shipping from 80108.

Any idea on specs like if it is off a classic vibe, vintage modified, etc. Thanks!

Did someone remove the plastic sleeve that lines the truss rod access hole on Squier basses?

I'm certainly not an expert on Squier specs. I did look over the pictures on the product page, and it appears some of the models have a sleeve and others don't. In any case, there is not one.

Many of these squier models do not have plastic sleeves installed from the factory when the neck is being shaped in an effort to keep costs down when competing with other manufacture markets.

Still available? Curious what the radius on this fretboard is? Considering.
