Squier strikes again!

    I picked up this VM P for $150. The owner had shaved the 'Squier' logo off of the headstock and changed the black pg for a white one. I absolutely LOVE the way it translated into this recording:

    i couldn't hear much from the bass.. it's kinda way behind in the mix imho
    Though the song is great.

    Ah thanks! You know I've heard that a lot about the mix. It's too bad because I'm not competing with anything sonically.

    Nice song and performance.

    I feel that the bass was recorded or mixed a bit too "bassy" or boomy so the sound is not clear. I would add some definition to it so it is more identifiable without taking over.

    Nice looking bass. What a deal!

    Yeah we were actually on tour and I had about 6 shows on those strings. They were pretty dead and I fear that's why you feel there is a lack of definition. Shoot.
