Fender Squier VM Jazz 5, with Audere 3 band preamp that has a 3 way switch for scoop, normal, high boost (growly grind for rock). I also upgraded to a bridge with saddle channels, added a wider string bar to put more tension on the Low B.

It’s maple body is on the heavy side, no lightweight here. I don’t have a scale, but it’s heavier than my Stingray 5, but very comfortable to play. Has wide string spacing, 19mm I think.

    Audere Preamp info:
    Pro JZ3 VB 4B Chrome

It’s not getting much use, as I hardly put my Stingray 5 down.

    Trade for:
    Fender Precision
    Squier Classic Vibe Precision
    Bergantino EX112
    or what-have-you...

  2. Interested in a Epiphone Thunderbird at all? I have one in decent condition, one small chip and a bit of buzz on the first fret of the G string... otherwise I have some never used (just out of package) Seymour Duncan SPB-2s. Willing to pay along with either trades. Looks like a great bass, if your interested message me and I can send pictures and what not.

Haven’t thought about it much, still considering keeping it:
Upgrade the bridge to hipshot brass, and tuners to hipshot lightweight...

Cash-wise I’d want more than it would cost you to purchase a new one from guitar center: $379 new, which is why I was looking for trades only.... but I think I might take this down and combine it with my other items to trade it towards what I’m really looking for: mesa subway cabs
