Looking to trade this for a Squier or MIM Fender P body (P or PJ).
    No Affinity please!

Based on the type of neck that came with this body and the pickups, I think this is a Vintage Modified Jazz. The neck is fretless and the SN dates to 2008.

The body is in pretty good shape for its age. Someone decided to install hardware on the front - pickup covers and a pickguard. I don't have a fitted pickguard to go with it. I have filled the pickup cover holes (see updated pic below). Not perfect and how good it looks depends a lot on the viewing angle. I also replaced the bridge, but still have the original - could go either way on a trade or sale.

It is a nice weight, right at 5 pounds on my bathroom scale (using the "weigh with and without" method - I did it 3 times and got the same results each time). That is the weight with the stock bridge. The Kickass Hipshot adds a little bit.

Buyer will need to pay shipping and work with me to figure out the best way to do it. I have a Sweetwater double-box that could be cut down, but that will cost around $60-65 to ship in the US based on FedEx and USPS estimates online. If I only use the inner Fender box (which has very sturdy cardboard), it cuts that in ~half. We'll need to work that out.

The bridge V pot needs to be replaced. It works but it scratchy and cuts out in some positions. I will probably do that soon and will update this when done.

I think the bass sounds great - comparable to my Fender MIM. But right now I have 2 J basses which is why I would like to trade.

Just available for trade right now.

    Post or PM any questions!

I just bought a neck that I want to try on it so it is sort of "on hold" anyway. a Squier Classic Vibe Precision maple neck with black blocks and binding is headed my way.
    :)

edit: I'm considering plans for the body but still considering offers as well.

Updated pics with Hipshot Kickass bridge installed.

The two close-up shots show how the filled holes change appearance depending on viewing angle or light.
