    Hello,
I've searched these forums, asked sellers on Reverb, even chatted with a Fender customer service rep who said, "Unfortunately we don't have that level of detailed specifications on Squier instruments."
The few Reverb sellers that responded all gave me different numbers (2", 2-1/16", 2-1/2").

Could someone with a Squier Vintage Modified Short Scale 30" Jaguar Bass please measure the neck heel at its widest point and let me know what it is?

I would like to own a 32" scale 1.5" nut Jaguar bass and am trying to figure out my options for making one. Or I guess if one exists that I don't know about, please let me know!
    Thanks!

    Hey everyone,
Figured I should update this in case anyone else is ever looking for these specs...

I decided to buy one of these, Amazon had a warehouse deal so it was only $175.99. I figured at that price I would roll the dice. I played it at my last band practice instead of my usual Fender MIM Jazz and I loved the short scale. We play in D standard, so I will be getting some thicker flatwounds as soon as I figure out whats available. Depending on how it feels after setting it up I might still buy a Warmoth 32" neck and route out this body. I'd like to paint it a nice seafoam type color, but the silver looks pretty good in person. So setting it up and upgrading the electronics are probably going to take priority over swapping necks right away.

I've included pictures of all of the measurements, I also threw in a quick measurement of the Squier neckplate that it came with versus an "upgraded" Fender one I bought on Amazon and have had around.. I'll be sticking with the Squier one for now.
