Squire Matt Freeman Replacement

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by snikroc, Nov 17, 2015.

  1. Bought a Squire Matt Freeman Bass two years ago. I really loved this bass, but sold it when I got the Fender RW Jazz. I still miss that bass. However, I would like something of slightly higher quality. My favorite thing about the MF was the neck. I was looking into the Roger Waters' Bass, but it seems to have a thicker 50's neck. Anyway, what would be a great bang for you buck PBASS with maple neck? I'd like to keep the cost down as best as possible.

    Options thus far

    1. Used AMS Pbass.
    2. Used MIM Pbass.
    3. Fender signature bass such as Dee Dee Ramone, or Roger Watters.
    4. Another brand (not really sure what is out there)
