So I’m new here and I’m sure this has already been discussed and as these are hold to get a hold of and play I was looking for some advice on which bass to get.. the squirt VM jazz or the Sire V3 any info or comparison would be greatly appreciated!
    Cheers

Received a gift from Sire* (see sig)
I say Sire, huge fanboi. The preamp alone is worth it.

Apples and Oranges....The Squier is passive, the Sire is active (with the best pre-amp on the planet, imo....better than some on boutique and high end basses).......so it depends on what you like/need

Obviously on paper and for the preamp alone the sire stands out but I’ve heard some stories about electrical problems with the Sire as well as the hardware (which I’d probably upgrade with tuners and a hi mass bridge )
