I know there's a string section - but hardly anyone goes there!
Stingray 5 fretless - I like the roundwound strings but they'll chew up the rosewood fretboard (yep, not pau ferro).
I like GHS grounds but they dont do 5's. Fender flats I hate.
    A nickel roundwound?
    A coated roundwound?
    D'Addario halfwound?
    DR Sunbeams?
    Elixir?
    Fodera?
I can't afford to try them all .. .help!!

Sorry, but you still need to post in the proper place. Moved.

nickel rounds will still chew your fretboard.

D'Addario Chromes are great flats with a very ringing tone (for flats) but if you hate other flats, they may not be your thing.

or...You could get the GHS grounds that you like, and just get the B string from another set. juststrings.com has single strings.

    Haven't tried the D'addario half-rounds...
