Played one the other day, and my god the neck on that beast was thin. Didn't go all that much on the sound of the strings, but 38mm at the nut is crazy, it was really interesting to play, as switching between strings was so incredibly easy! Any owners out there? If so, what do you guys think about the tiny neck on this beast?

I was going to pick this up on ebay.. .it was between the SRX-705 and the SRX-505...
I ended up going cheap and saving $100 and got the 505 version.

I do know what you mean about Ibanez's necks though. Those things are paper thin. My 6 string has that similar neck and it makes it seem like I am playing my old Warwick 5 Thumb B/O

Once you play something with such a massive neck like a Warwick and you switch to a bass like an Ibanez then everythign else seems like a toy.... but they all are easier to play.
