SRX300 & SRX400?

    Is there enough variation in the tone to warrant buying an SRX400 if I already have an SRX300? I just acquired an SRX300 in a trade not even really wanting it but feel in love with the neck. I've been looking for something with a retro look and have always like the quirky looks of the SRX400 but if the tone is very similar to the 300 I don't know if it would be worth it.:confused: If you had both which one would you put flats on? I'm thinking the 400 would be kinda cool with flats. What do you think? Thanks.

    The SRX400 is a monster. Flats would be OK on it, you'd get kinda close to a P-bass sound with that setup.
