  1. Dear god.... i just went back through the archives to have a look at some of my posts/threads from my first few months on here. Dear god, i was a stupid n00b. Not saying that im an accomplished bassist/TBer, but after being around for 2 years, and looking back, im sincerely embarrassed.

So who else was a st00pid n00b? or am i the only one

I was. I posted a thread about "how fast can you play" in the basses forum. Go figure.

I made some pretty stupid posts as well.

  4. I think I'm right in saying that in all my posts on TB, one or two MIGHT have been sensible :p

It's strange, the threads I started only go back to 3-07-03 even though I joined in October of 02. It took me a while to post I guess, unless there's a cut off :)

The majority of posts I'm embarassed about are either ones where I said I was going to do something (defret project, new practice routine etc..) and I never did it. Also all the threads about what bass to get, or threads I made when I got a new bass..it's really embarassing, considering that I don't own any of the basses anymore.

My signature used to be "I LOVE this bass, and I'm never getting rid of it...seriously" :)

    oh the n00bery

  19. I was a n00b for about my first month on here. I just posted all of my tech questions in the luthiers forum :rollno: Sorry Hambone. :D

I look back and it's so embarassaing, now I think I know how evrything works (generally).

I guess we all have to be n00bs before we learn!

After how many posts do you all say a person generally stops being a noob? Or is it an age thing?
