    Hi,

I have a passive Yamaha BB that I want to re-wire like this:

    1. Stacked vol/tone pot (I think, I need 250K for both)
    2. Blend pot

Unfortunately, no local vendors ship stacked pots, so I should order them through Internet.

I've searched through TB and found several options:

    1. Fender. It seems to be a 250K/500K pot though.
    2. MEC. Was unable to find pots like this in the Internet.

Are there any makers of stacked volume/tone pots, I have mislooked?

I would rather think that it's better to give up with this idea (and just take three pots for vol, tone and blend) – but Sire V7 guys, what pot will you buy if the stock vol/tone will fail?

Try here, I used the mini 250K concentric stack pot to have stacked Q-filter and standard tones on my SX P. It's the same part you would use, too:

Many thanks, that seems to be the way to go.

Albeit, a little confused with the description "Audio taper for tone and volume controls in one mounting hole." – that literally states, tone pot is a logarithmic one. Could you, please, comment, on whether both pots are log or linear?

    Audio (log taper).

Tone pot is log as well? If so, I will wire two pots instead of the stacked one.

Thanks for many detailed replies, Otto!

You are welcome. I don't understand your other comment, though. Audio taper will work for both volume and tone with the stacked pot.
