    I was sitting here remembering when I saw Stanley Clarke and Gregory Hines do the bass-tap duet on Arsenio. I was in high school.

    Then I remembered that it's 2016 and we can find anything we ever saw before on the internet.

    Artistry. Sheer artistry.

    Big props to Arsenio Hall, too. There were a lot of great moments on his show that you wouldn't have seen anywhere else on TV at the time.

    Agreed. I remember one night where Chick Corea sat in with the band all night long, and another where he had Living Colour doing "Elvis is Dead," and both Little Richard and Angelo Moore showed up to do their parts. It was a great show in its day.

    Yep, that Arsenio performance is the first track on that album. I bought it the week it came out!
