Can't reveal my sources... Don't know how reliable this is...

    Mace's Death:
Both JEDI get pushed apart from the power of their blows, and then they leap, flipping in the air and swinging their lightsabers at each other again, slashing their blades quick and unrelentingly. ANAKIN begins to gain some ground, pushing MACE back against the far wall.

His eyes are filled with hatred. He presses further, and with one quick strike he severs MACE'S hand, knocking the lightsaber to the ground. He swiftly grabs the weapon, through the FORCE and throws it against the wall far behind him. It shatters. MACE grabs his arm in pain.

CAMERA ON ANAKIN: ANAKIN plunges the blade down at his victim, and then removes it. He begins to swing again and again at the dead Jedi, his face a visage of evil. He cries out with the last swing and then looks up, his eyes filled with bloodlust.

    Anakin Vs Obi-Wan:
The STARSHIP which is also hanging, drops into the lava pool below. When it hits the lava it explodes, sending pieces of it back up, nearly knocking PADMÉ off the edge. OBI-WAN reaches her and kneels down. He reaches down to grab her hand, and notices the quick movements of ANAKIN directly behind him. ANAKIN plunges his blade at OBI-WAN'S back, but the seasoned Jedi Knight blocks it. PADMÉ, continues to hang from the edge, but this time OBI-WAN charges unrelentingly, knowing she could FALL at any second and that ANAKIN is at a loss, without his arm. He knocks the lightsaber free, dropping ANAKIN to the ground. ANAKIN tries to flee, and OBI-WAN gives on last blow to ANAKIN at the back of his head. striking him down, dead.

i seriously doubt that anakin is responsible for mace's death - if obi wan can defeat anakin, or at least cause a draw, mace would be able to clean his clock.

i'm pretty sure that palpatine is scheduled to make a few combat appearances in this one.

Anyone who actually believes they've got their hands on the real script for Episode III are woefully mistaken. :meh:

That said...by the time the third film rolls around, I'm sure Anakin will be responsible for the death of many a Jedi (including Mace) before it's all said, and done.

Honestly, I'm more interested in the plot line that ends with Yoda hiding out on Dagobah more than anything....

Sadly, I think the prequel trilogy is simply a footnote for StarWars. I just watched Empire again on Laser Disc (THX Remastered--but without that "Special Edition" drek), and it is, without a doubt, the best Star Wars movie. YMMV, IMHO, void where prohibited, may cause drowsiness, etc, etc....

Is Mace the character played by Samuel Jackson?

  8. *Ahem* - Small, tiny plot hole there.

Guess I should have included this in my initial post

    !!DISCLAIMER!!

I make no claim as to the validity of this. I pulled it off the SW fan site The Force dot net.. Could be legit, could be a red herring.. I have now way of knowing.. Just knowing that there are other SW fans here I thought they might like to see it.

Hmm... This might be a movie worth watching. Episode 1 really really sucked, Episode 2 really sucked, so we can all look forward to Episode 3 to just plain suck :D.

Maybe he just thinks he is dead?

Who knows? They may have the technology to bring people back or something.

I think it is safe to assume we will see our first glimpse of Darth Vader (in full Vader gear) towards the end of the film.

I also think we may see Luke and Leah as babies as well.

And I read that Chewbacca is gonna lay down some ass whippins in this one!

    I wanna see Greedo though....

I think it will be awesome. I'll be getting it for xbox the day it comes out. It looks like a Morrowind type game with a Star Wars setting

Definitely. I've been following it's development a bit and it looks like you're pretty much set loose in the Star Wars universe to roam freely as you please (whilst completing your missions obviously). Sounds pretty damn cool to me. If they could incorporate the lightsaber combat from Jedi Knight II then it might just be the coolest game ever :D

  20. Unfortunately, I haven't seen Episodes I or II... but I do enjoy the special editions - especially the stuff added to the cloud city.
