Started as a Frankenbass for basement practice...

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by BlacknWhite, Nov 27, 2018.

  1. Was looking to build a junker for basement practice use only. Had a No name P bass donated to me (Used the body and bridge). The rest of the parts Neck, and electronics I pulled from an old 70's Northern bass I had laying around. Once I finally got the neck shimmed and situated properly and all the electronics soldered in I plugged it in and damn... it sounds pretty sweet. Pick ups are super hot and aggressive. Pretty close to a couple of my old Mexi P's that I use to use. Not bad for 60 bucks. Will probably bring it along to our next gig. 20181127_065114. 20181127_065142. 20181127_065500.

Is that some flame on the fretboard? Nice!
