    hi al im a newcomer to bass and i want to start playing i would like to play all kinds on music could u recoment a bass and amp combo which is of good quality and sound for about £270.

    I recently bought one and am rather impressed.

    As far as an amp is concerned, i'm partial to Peavey and Hartke, but there are so many to choose from. Other members here will surely chime in to give you their opinions.
