Looks like the time has come to sell my old well-loved Status ! £2000 ono
Hey, great bass!
Can you better define the condition for us?
well-loved could mean anything from played often to many dings, nicks, etc.
usually, potential buyers like to have an account of:
- condition highlighting any significant markings
- truss rod usability -- not an issue here
- significant modifications
- ''bill of health'' - has it undergone any repairs, factory or otherwise?
Thanks, looking forward to learning more about this one!
It does have a number of dings and nicks and one long crack in the lacquer (I am happy to mail the photos to anyone interested in seeing them. I tried to post more pics but it insisted I had a max of 2 ... and they had to be of lower quality than 2mb too!) !
Also, the frets have seen alot of action so are quite worn down.
It was sent back to status to repair an annoying battery compartment error but other than that - nothing of any significance has been done.
Let me reiterate ... i am not trying to pull the wool here... this bass has been played alot. If anyone wants to see anymore pics PM me and I will send them straight over.
No implication that you were not being anything but forthright
Just trying to help you make the sale.
