Yes, I don't expect these will be the fastest sell here on TB but you never know! :)

I'll try to help the marketing - I picked up a set of the tapewound status strings (having read Ukiah Bass' recommendation) and really liked them. A little brighter and smaller gauge than Labellas. Nice clear tone. Customer service was very good too, so although I haven't tried the exact set for sale here, I wouldn't hestitate to try their strings (and picked up some flatwounds recently which I'll try some day). So what do these things sound like or compare to? Stainless?

They are stainless steel (although it doesn't say so on the package). Here's a link to the webpage: http://www.status-graphite.com/status/frames/stringsinfo.html

The only bass I've ever played these strings on is a Status S2 so it's difficult for me to compare them to other strings. On the Status they were very clear. A nice amount of flexibility but, again, I don't know how much of that was the bass itself (it was 35"). I liked the strings and had no reason to switch to anything else on the S2 but I've sold the bass and use other strings (MTDs and DRs mainly) on my other basses.

These are really good strings. They last, they sound nice and clear, they are just good strings. $25 for a set of new 5 strings is a good price for any set of 5... let alone STATUS!
    GLWTS!
