Status Streamline fretted bass. If you are looking at this you probably know the details. All carbon fiber, impervious to temp/weather changes. Active preamp, able to use double ball or standard strings. Very lightweight. This one has been on the forum before, it has some hazing in the finish which is purely cosmetic, it is most noticeable on the back, I am told that this was a result of a humid day at the Status factory when the bass was made and it can be removed with a heat gun but I haven’t cared to try. It looks fine to me and plays very nice with very low action if you like that. Comes with original bag in excellent condition. Dunlop strap locks installed. As a bonus I will include a set of Labella double ball flatwounds and a set of Labella double ball tapewounds. Currently wearing Labella double ball roundwounds. lower 48 USA only, buyer pays shipping.
That's a lovely wee thing! Are trades of any interest at all, or are you just looking for a straight sale?
I have seen those hazy marks in some instruments with a similar finish. Does it originate from a part where a an extremly tiny part of the lacquer is cracked and humidity seeps in? My understanding is that you'd have to find a tool to extract the water and seel the tiny crack. Not sure if someone can confirm.
I never got a Trump check. Guess I'm just an old retired Bassist living on Social Security and a small pension, paying for my Medicare, and my supplemental policy, and the Medicare part D. That is an asbestos and cancer survivor. With COPD........ sad ain't it. And no gigs, cause I'm one that is most susceptible. But no check yet.....
