    Independent Instrument Technician, and Contractor to Club Bass and Guitar - Toronto
    Makers are scrambling to find substitutes for Rosewood. It will be interesting to see what surfaces and what proves to be acceptable.

    Well, if it does prove to be a replacement for RW, are we going to see people claiming that reclaimed oak flooring (old growth denser rings) have better tone than more recent growth trees (wider rings)?

    How long until they are using old Sauder furniture for fretboards? Might as well just paint maple to make it look like rosewood at this point
