"Steering Wheel" Bass

Discussion in 'Miscellaneous [BG]' started by bigmanb, Apr 25, 2002.

  1. Does anyone else play bass on their stearing wheel when they are driving? I find myself doing this constantly, and it's actually quite fun. If I really get into it I'll start slapping too.

  3. LOL .. I don´t drive, but I "play" on everything else I have around me. Practicing that way has helped me improving my tapping techinque.. I´ve also discovered that I have good skills for hand percussion since I´ve always been playing rythms on any surface with my hands and fingers since I remember.

I don't play bass on inanimate objects, but like luis, I find myself playing perscussion on whatever is handy.

Steering wheels, desks, dashboards, butts, whatever!

Yeah, sometimes I "fret" my steering wheel. I never solo on the wheel though -- that leads to accidents!
