I recently aquired an 85' Steinberger XL-2 and was wonder what the other TB double ball string users preferred. I have tried D'Angelico so far and was not too happy.

    Any suggestions?

I always used to use Labella... my Steinberger is on mothballs though... maybe there is something better...

    I prefer Status Graphite strings.

I like LaBella's, but have been using Status and I'm sticking with them. Very high quality and reasonably priced, even with shipping from the UK. They are also calibrated to the steinberger standard for tension, like Labella's. They come in round, half-round, flat and tape wound. Highly recommended!
