    Steinberger Bass Guitar Headless

I can't stop laughing, just wanted to share.

3 string de-fretted bastardized Cort with wooden bridge saddle and welded bolt...can't imagine the homemade harness for it.

If he moved the J pickup poles I would have been super impressed.

"I guess a picture is worth a thousand words? I have seen Steinbergers but nothing like this!! Shipping is $25 to anywhere in the lower 48 states. Comes as pictured!"

  4. Tony Levin's long-lost three string that burned in his house fire, horribly mutated and back from the dead?

I've had a red Hohner B2 since 1988. It was collecting dust and I gave it to my nephew 2 years ago...and now I miss my headless bass. Was looking for another one, I like the Hohner more than the Spirit or Cort or any other...but they're tough to find.

Amazes me that I bought it used for $300 in '88 and its value has increased. I recently borrowed mine back and put new strings, polished frets, etc. The truss rod hasn't needed an adjustment in 25+ years and it's still almost mint condition. I love stuff that stands the test of time.

I think the current bid of $1.25 is about right. As a genuine Steinberger owner, I'm heavily biased, but I played all the clone knockoffs back in the day, and the Corts were junk they day they were built. (No offense to anybody who owns one of these intended) Time has not improved things in this case. Hopefully somebody will flag it as misrepresentation.

It's the same port that Neo, and others use in the Matrix, to download their programs... you know, to become one with the... 'bass'.

I might buy it for the tuning bridge alone if it doesn't go over 5 bucks
