{} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} These Basses are starting to become quite rare and listings have them priced overseas for a ridiculous amount of $1k+!!! I had originally purchased this bass intended to upgrade the EMG pickup to an EMGx pickup but I have too many projects and other Basses that get played more. Get yourself a deal on this Bass (shipping included). Bass comes with original case. No issues with this instrument at all other than no strap button for some odd reason, plays perfectly though. Weight gets asked a lot around here and my bathroom scale shows it to be weighing at 8lbs. Has been setup with GHS Pressurewounds. Specs: Cybrosonic Technology featuring an integrated graphite U-channel combined with a three-piece hard maple neck Maple wings Phenolic fingerboard Flamed maple top Trans finish EMG 40P USA humbucker Piezo bridge Ebony saddle Direct-drive double-ball bridge Fold-down leg rest Recessed tool holder Recessed output jack Strap hook Combo headpiece Zero fret 34" scale Takes single- or double-ball strings.
Guess I’ll lose out on this one.... $450 SHIPPED GETS IT!! The cheapest you’ll ever find on one of these with its Original Case.... LITERALLY.
Wow, if I didn't already have two of these I'd own this one too. What a deal at that price. Absolutely love this bass, they are a pleasure to play and are easy on the back as well. Beautiful example, GLWTS.
Thanks for the offer, but the white is a 5'er and I already have the red 4. I used to have this exact blue Synapse and sold it off last year to buy a Carvin BB75. They hold a special place in my heart because I played the white Synapse exclusively for a few years which I extremely enjoyed. It is a shame to see the lack of love these basses get on TB when they really are awesome lightweight basses. Your blue Steinie will make someone extremely happy, hang in there..
Thanks for the kind wishes, I originally intended to upgrade the pickups to the EMGx or TWX but will see if nothing by the end of next month. How’s your red one holding up?
I picked up the red Synapse for playing drop C metal about 5 years ago and it never disappoints. Even though I don't play the Synapses too much these days, they would be extremely tough to get rid of for me. I've owned several of these Synapses over the years and my red and white examples are my favorites. I exclusively played Steinberger basses for years until the day I bought a MM Bongo. The Bongo helped me to deviate from the headless world but my Steinies will always hold a special place in my heart.
