Ok so I am expecting my XL2 delivered tomorrow and CANT WAIT!! Since I am somewhat OCD about cleaning, pampering and upkeep regarding my basses does anyone have any good cleaning methods for this bass ? Since I have never owned one I would like to clean the graphite body and the phenolic fboard , etc but dont want to damage it.
    Thanks!!

Sandblaster set to "High", then gently rub with copious amounts of bleach!

    Just kidding, obviously. I couldn't resist. :p

I'm curious too, since I'm assembling a bass with a neck harvested from a Squier Deluxe Jazz (ebonol fretboard).

Congrats on your Steinberger! Rock it like a hurricane!!

I use the same stuff on the fretboard...without the strings on mind you. With a little elbow grease (depending on how dirty the bass is), it works pretty well. I know I practically scrubbed my XL2 with this stuff when I got it!

Good for the finish AND the fretboard? Even better!

    Many thanks!
