What stereo amp heads are there, I'd like to get an amp for my ric and to use my effects to there full effect.
I'd don't want to have a rack I'd just like a nice decent quality head.

I want to spend around $1000

I've seen the hartke 7000/5000 which has 2 power amp sections but i'm not sure if you can use it as stereo or if it's just biampable, theres also the abm 900 from ashdown but its to expensive.

I'd like an amp that could handle any type of music easily

    Thanks in advance

oh yeah, the mo bass is stereo... and has some effects in it (sub-octaver, overdrive, chorus, synth) also has a blend switch for both sides... not sure how uit really sounds though...

You could look at getting a used Alembic F-2B stereo pre and matching it up with any stereo power amp.

I have an SWR SM-500 for sale in the "Classifieds:For Sale" section. It will go for under $1000... look for my post in the classifieds for the details if interested. Thanks:)
