Are they the same dimensions? Would a Sterling neck fit on a Stingray body? I know that the Sterlings are 5 bolt, and the SRs are 6. Would that be a problem?

Yeah, im sure if theres 6 holes in the stringray body and 5 holes in the sterling neck, then somethings not going to line up and its gonna be more trouble then its worth.

More trouble than just drilling new holes?

Your already going to have alot of holes in the body and the neck so chances are that by drilling new holes you will really just be opening existing holes up more. I mean its possible and wouldnt be that complicated I guess, I wouldnt do it personally tho

Won't work. Sterling heel is contoured, Stingray isn't.

Oh, and a Spurs fan in Dallas? I thought it was just me!

Not to mention the StingRay has a 21 fret neck, the Sterling is a 22 fret.
