Sterling SUB Ray4 vs Ibanez SR370

    Hey guys,

    I am doubting between buying the Sterling Sub Ray4 or a Ibanez SR370. I really like the amazing sound out of the Sterling. But on the other hand I also like the versitileness of the Ibanez because of the extra pickup and the series/tap/powertap function. I play all sorts of genres, from funk/disco to even thrashmetal.

    Are there people here with some experience on both/one of these basses? Which one would you go for in my situation, and why?

    Note: For sure im going to try both basses, but I am looking for some other opinions :)

    Two different sounds and two very differently shaped necks. It's apples and oranges.

    Ibanez Talman 310.

    Both very versatile, both $300.
    Never thought much about Ibanez until I tried the Talman series.

    Thanks for the suggestion, but the TMB300 series are not available for sale here :/
