Stethoscope Headset?

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by Obsdian, Nov 5, 2013.

  1. Does anybody know if there is a "stethoscope headset" or something similar available for practice? Like, connecting suction cups to the head and body with a set of headphones?

The Dragon Fly kind of worked, but it would pop of the instrument pretty easily. I could see that they would have had trouble selling them. Personally, even if they were available, I wouldn't bother with them. IMHO it's best to get a personal practice amp or one of the newer amps that has a headphone and iPod jack.

This product existed a few years ago, but sucked, mainly because with a stethoscope, the slightest rubbing of the tubing on anything (including the players' shirt) produces loud, unwanted noise.

  5. Thanks guys! Did some research on this one and decided to hold off for a small practice amp instead.
