For those who love uncut old school funk, get the reissue of Steve Arrington's Hall of Fame:I. This album is full of great finger style and slapped stingray tone in combo with great drumming. For those who don't know, Steve Arrington was a drummer and singer for Slave (Touch of Love, Watching You).

Great album! I still have the original issue on wax.

I think it was a Stingray on every cut although three guys: Buddy Hankerson, Steve Arrington, and Kevin Eubanks (that Kevin Eubanks) are credited with bass on the CD.

Resurrecting ancient thread, listening to this album now, great bass playing throughout. Love some Ohio funk.
