Just ordered a new bridge from Warmoth (for my MIM Fender Fretless Standard Jazz Bass), and was pokin around on their website, and ended up in the pickups section.

I found "The Steve Bailey Fundamental Fretless System" by Seymour Duncan which is supposed to "bring out the most in your fretless bass". It's two j-style pickups (for a 4, anyway) and a two or three knob tone system.

Does anyone have this setup? Anyone used it? Anyone KNOW about it? It isn't even mentioned on the Seymour Duncan website.

(Steve Bailey blows my mind in the Bass Extremes video... I suggest everyone buy it or the CD. It co-stars Victor Wooten as well)
  2. It's similar to the standard Duncan system, but has slightly different EQ centre frequencies to optimize the "mwah" factor.
