Other than having the 'signature model', what's the point? (Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Maiden/Harris fan)

All ya need is a maple necked P w/ a Badass II and SD Quarter Pounder, and you've pretty much got the sound licked.. depending on your particular playing style.

That said, I'd love to have one of 'em myself, for novelty's sake.

  6. yea, but it's like the P-bass version of a Geddy Lee.......you know?

  7. Actually its already spoken for, he just didnt unlist it ;)

Anyone checked Musician's Friend?? They may still have a few.

  9. Personally,I love those mirror style pickguards.I came across one here in Dublin recently.I don't think it was a Fender but it was very like Phil Lynotts.

  10. Not that i remember...ive wanted one of these since they came out...i went on a huge hunt emailing just about every dang music company in North America.
I even had a few forumites keepin an eye out for me.

Finally scored (hopefully) with this off ebay deal thing.

  11. hopefully our constant badgering at Fender's customer serivice will help revise these babies....I mean they revised the Jag-Stang guitars...as much as I like those, I'm more focused on basses(probably like the majority of us here at TB)..

  12. Apparently the body is basswood. I've never seen that on a Fender.

  18. yea, I got another one of those copy-and-paste replies from Fender, too........heh...well....let's keep trying, this John Shannon guy should be given sympathy after the amount of bugging we're all gonna give him!!!!

  19. oh yea, I sent them another e-mail reguarding the Harris P-bass, as well as questioning the copy-and-paste response..this one was a little more lengthy that I expected..I'll post of the reply as soon as I recieve it!
