Hi all I'm very interested in buying a Stewart 1.2 power amp but I can't find one at 220v (I live in Italy).
Stewart wrote to me that the only way is to buy a converter.
I don't want an external converter, there is a way to getting one of those amps at 220v or to modify them?

    Thanks

AFAIK no. I looked into this and the only way was an external step down transformer. I bought a QSC PLX instead.

There was actually a 220V Stewart World 1.6 poweramp that was on eBay a week or so ago. I considered putting a bid on it, but since I live in the States, I had the opposite problem with the transformer. It went really cheap...a little over $290 US. I realize it's too little, too late, but they are out there.
