How much does a Stewart 2.1 go for new? Used?
Anyone have any general opinions on them? Good for a bass
rig? Does this model have a fan? Thanks.

Call BassNorthwest for details on the Stewart. They sell a fair amount of them. I've heard people say they're very good for bass. They do have a fan and they are very light, like about 18 lbs. Retail is in the $1300-1400 range. I've never seen one on ebay, so I have no idea re the used price. Good luck, and try to talk to someone who plays one.
  3. Lord Valve sells new QSC PLX series for much less.

Well, you're talking mangoes and persimmons here, aren't you?
  5. I just bought a Stewart World 1.2 that I'm bridging into an Ampeg 8x8(1200 watts into 4 ohms), and unless you want to rid your neighborhood of vertebrates, I couldn't imagine what you would use the 2.1 for. The 1.2 has all the headroom I need, and then some!! It's not an amp, it's a pneumatic Spleen chisel! BTW, got it at bassnw, real cool folks to deal with.
