A quick one: STEWMAC sell a routing template for Fender bass neck pocket. Will a Warmoth neck fit this neck pocket? I know it will in theory - anyone tried it?

Haven't tried it either, but our necks are dead on Fender's published heel width spec of 2 1/2" wide, while some other replacement necks are oversized to fit better in loose pockets.

I'd check with stewmac to see if it's 2 1/2" or a bit larger, if so there should be no problem.
