Stiff higher tension strings.

    When I play hard/fast on my yamaha 4 string (bb series) I get some clanking on the last fret. I have found that the higher tension strings alleviate the problem. My question is I need some new strings and want to go with Fender flatwound 9050M. Any feedback on these strings? Are the 9050S just as stiff?
